Creators Are The Future!!!

Creators

In today’s world, creativity is the most important leadership skill…

It’s not me saying that. 1,500 executives who recently said: “Creativity is the most important leadership skill”.

Pretty soon people will no longer be hired because of what they know or their ability to memorize facts…like who cares? We’ve got Google, Apple Siri, and Amazon’s Alexa to do just that.

In the future, people will be defined with what they can do with their knowledge and creatively to tackle real-world problems. And since most careers will become automated, anyone who wants to succeed will have to be innovative, curious, and resilient to adapt to new changes.

Unfortunately, the public school system’s focus isn’t on that. It’s on gathering information and taking QI tests to get good grades. These robotic tasks we learned should stop.

No one can do robot jobs better than a robot. as the Founder and Executive of Alibaba Group said:

“We should not compete with artificial intelligence.”

So instead of competing with artificial intelligence, we need to focus on developing unique human intelligence. Jack Ma said at the annual World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. “The jobs we need are [ones to] make people happier … people experience life, enjoy [being] human beings.”

Ma is not the only tech billionaire to predict that AI will give us more to enjoy our lives as humans. Microsoft Bill Gates said at the World Economic Forum in 2018.

“The purpose of humanity is not just to sit behind a counter and sell things. More free time is not a terrible thing.”

And that leads us to an important question?

How we suppose to be prepared for the future that doesn’t yet exist.

They will be no need for textboxes or memorable facts but instead, we’ll need to use our minds and hearts. People with inspired hearts and wisdom to uplift this planet. We’ll need more passion and compassion. Now if you want to develop these kinds of skills nowadays, your first feedback will become from your parents. “No! I want you to graduate and be like Mr….or Mrs….”.

Her’s is a hint:

There’s a passage in a book called “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran who said:

“Your Children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of life longing for itself. They come through you, but not from you. And though they are with you, they do not belong to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You might house their bodies but not their souls. For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow”.

Go and graduate! But if you think that taking Q&A tests and memorizing facts will get your hired. Sorry to disappoint you.

Pursue your dreams but always remember, success can be achieved at any time if we’re ready to make a behavior change on all fronts. It’s the future…but the future is now.
